it’s cold, it’s dreary sometimes, but it is also the best time to hang indoors with friends, spend some time perfecting bowling “skills” and throwing back a few belgian beers. also, trying to get back into taking more pictures is easier said than done but here are a few recent ones.

christmas is over…
it is officially over but it was officially wonderful. hope everyone had a merry christmas with lots of goodies and fun times with family and friends.

even though they are sometimes referred to as “witches’ hats”, i think these little peanut butter cookies with kisses are oh so christmas. have had them since i was little when my dad used to make them. yum!

beacon, ny is a cute little town on the hudson -
with an artistic, creative community where as my friend says everyone is either 5 or 35
highlights include egg bagels that are yum, christmas wreaths on main street and a man made waterfall.
it felt good to get some fresh air on a saturday outside of the city.

vogue lunch
i don’t speak too much of my job on this blog, but we had a rather fun event the other day that i think is worth sharing. british vogue editor, carol woolton, came to asprey to share a small, intimate lunch with some ladies and speak about her new book “drawing jewels for fashion”. she speaks about the luncheon here and vogue mentions the new book here.
most fun though was seeing the beautifully decorated silver and purple room at the store – it really got me in the mood for christmas decor! more on that later…
